TMJ Treatment
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD), commonly known as TMJ, are disorders of the jaw muscles, joints and the nerves linked to chronic facial pain. Any problem that prevents the complex system of muscles, bones, and joints from working together in harmony may result in TMJ. TMJ can arise due to various factors such as stress, trauma, improper bite, arthritis, or wear and tear. Some common non-surgical treatments of TMJ include medication, bite guards, and physical therapy. TMJ can also be treated through surgical procedures.
